SHAH ALAM: Nine men with alleged ties to secret societies have been arrested following an armed robbery case at Pandamaran, Klang which went viral last week.
Police are on the hunt for remnants of the group who are considered armed and dangerous.
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said one of the suspects, a 38-year-old man, has a record for 14 criminal offences including two murders and an attempted murder.
"This suspect was previously detained under the Prevention of Crime Act (POCA) and Security Offences (Special Measures) Act (Sosma).
"One of his accomplices has 13 prior criminal convictions as well," he told reporters on Monday.

"The suspects, who are all from Negri Sembilan, were arrested following raids in Mantin and Klang Valley between Oct 3 and Oct 7.
"They are considered dangerous and behave aggressively toward their victims," he said, adding that checks revealed the suspects had secret society links.
Hussein said police were now looking four more suspects still at large.
"These suspects are considered armed and dangerous," he said and urged anyone with information to come forward immediately.
