GEORGE TOWN: A man from Pakistan was killed after being stabbed in Pulau Tikus here at about 5pm today.
The 48-year-old victim died while seeking treatment at a clinic on Jalan Datuk Keramat.
Northeast district acting police chief Superintendent Lee Swee Sake said the victim was taken to the clinic by his friends after the stabbing.
"We are still at the scene gathering further details. An investigation is underway," he said.
He added that the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
