PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today conducted checks on several premises, including the home of FashionValet founders Datin Vivy Yusof and Datuk Fadzaruddin Shah Anuar in the Klang Valley.

Its chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said the commission also obtained several documents and information on assets owned by the couple to assist in the investigation during their checks on the premises.

"My officers followed them to their home and any related premises in our investigation into the case.

"My officers are in the process of investigating the premises owned by the two individuals. Investigations into both of them is still ongoing.

"As of today, our investigators have taken statements from nine witnesses. Investigators are visiting their premises to collect documents and affidavits and to assess their assets," he said when contacted today.

Earlier, Vivy and Fadzaruddin arrived at the MACC headquarters around 1pm today to have their statements recorded regarding the RM43.9 million in investment losses suffered by Khazanah Nasional Bhd (Khazanah) and Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) in FashionValet.

It is understood that investigators spent about three hours questioning the pair today.

Sources indicated yesterday that they were scheduled to resume the statement-taking process at 10am today.

Media personnel had gathered outside the commission's headquarters from early this morning, hoping to obtain comments from both individuals.

However, the two were only seen entering the headquarters compound at around 12.54pm.

Attempts by the media to speak with them were unsuccessful,as they later departed in the black MPV in the evening.

Yesterday, it was reported that the couple was questioned by the MACC.

According to sources, they arrived at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya, where they were interrogated as part of ongoing investigations.
