SEPANG: The magistrate's court here today ordered the murder case of North Korean Kim Jong-nam to be transferred to the Shah Alam High Court.
Sessions court judge Harith Sham Mohamed Yasin, who acted as magistrate, made the order after the case came up for mention before him today.
Indonesian Siti Aishah, 25, and Vietnamese Doan Thi Huong, 28, were charged along with four others still at large, with murdering Kim Jong-nam, 45.
Jong-nam was the estranged half-brother of North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un.
The duo allegedly committed the offence at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2) departure hall at around 9am on Feb 13.
Their charge under Section 302 of the Penal Code carries a mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
