KULIM: Two policemen were injured when a stage bus crashed into their patrol car at Km171.2 of the North-South Expressway (NSE) near Serdang here today.
State Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said firemen and emergency medical crew from the Serdang station were despatched to the scene upon receiving a distress call about 5.50pm.
He said the two policemen, who were pinned to their seats, were extricated from the mangled vehicle.
"One of them suffered injury to the waist while the other policemen suffered injuries to his hand.
"Both were rushed to the Parit Buntar Hospital for treatment," he said.
The cause of the crash could not be immediately ascertained.
