Batman spotted at Pasar Seni LRT station, Malaysians love it

KUALA LUMPUR: Is Batman taking the Light Rail Transit (LRT) because his Batmobile broke down or is the superhero on a mission to keep vandals at bay?

Batman has definitely gained instant attention when the commuters caught him at the Pasar Seni LRT station here today.

A video of the Dark Knight taking the stairs at the station, which was uploaded on the Rapid KL Facebook page, has garnered 22,000 views, 2,100 reactions and drawn hundreds of humorous responses from netizens.

In its Facebook post, RapidKL questioned if Batman decided to take up on RapidKL's 50 per cent discount currently offered for all rides on the LRT, Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), Monorail and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) till Aug 31.

“Why didn’t he drive his batmobile? He has to walk up the stairs... pity him,” said Facebook user Adibah Noor Mohd Omar.

Rapid KL replied: “That is why it (Batmobile) is not allowed in the LRT. You see, even Batman also follow the rules.”

Another user, Erniefaizal Siti said: “Wow! Batman also knows how to commute on the LRT. It’s even cheaper than driving the vehicle. Good job Mr Batman!”

“Admin Rapid KL is seriously the best… all of the posts and comments keep me entertained,” said another Facebook user.

Meanwhile, Farhan Firdaus commended Batman as he is an example of showing the public to choose to walk up the stairs instead of using the escalator.

“Good Batman! Most of the people are lazy to walk up the stairs,” he said.
