KUALA LUMPUR: At least six cars parked near the Awan Besar LRT Station had their windows smashed.
Cheras district police chief Assistant Commissioner Ravindar Singh said police began receiving reports at 9.20am on July 2.
"We received reports from six people.
"Checks revealed that the vehicles were parked there around 3pm on July 1," he said in a statement on Friday.
He said the vehicle owners only realised that the windows had been shattered the next day.
"The suspect is still at large.
"The case is being investigated as committing mischief and causing damage," he said, adding police would not compromise with anyone who broke the law.
