MIRI: A Form One student, who was reported missing for few days, returned home with shocking news for her father on Wednesday.
The 13-year-old teenager claimed she was forced into having sex with three men on two separate occasions during the period when she was reported missing.
The victim related her ordeal to her 55-year-old father, when he brought her to the Miri Hospital for a medical examination.
In the first incident, the victim alleged she was forced into having sex with man, whom she identified only as an “old man”, at a homestay here recently.
Miri district deputy police chief Superintendent Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the teenager claimed she was paid RM700 after she was raped by the first suspect.
“On the second incident, the victim claimed she was threatened by a woman, who had forced her to have sex with two men at a hotel here.
“The victim said the two men took turns raping her at the hotel.
“She did not show any resistance because she was afraid that she would be beaten by the woman and the two men,” Stanley said.
Acting on a report lodged by the victim’s father on Sunday, the police launched an operation to locate the suspects.
One of them, a 36-year-old man, was arrested at house here at 9.30pm on the same day.
“Our men are in the process to locate the remaining suspects.
“The victim, meanwhile, has been sent to the hospital to undergo medical examination.”
Stanley said the case is being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape.
