SEREMBAN: A 17-year-old girl, who was reported missing from her family's home in Taman College Heights, Sikamat, early yesterday, has been found in Kelantan.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Hatta Che Din said the family of Form Five student Nur Farah Diana Mohd Erwadi had been informed.
"A teenage girl reported missing from her home yesterday was found today in Kubang Kerian, Kelantan.
"She is safe and was found at the family home of a male acquaintance.
"She has been sent to the Kubang Kerian police station, where her family from Seremban will pick her up.
It was previously reported that Nur Farah's mother found the teenager missing when she went to wake her up for school around 7am yesterday.
Nor Akmar Hariri, 43, said her daughter had gone missing with her mobile phone, school bag and make-up kit.
