NILAI: Police are looking for the lorry driver who fled an accident scene after crashing into three vehicles at KM270.3 of the North-South Expressway today.
District police chief Superintendent Zaldino Zaludin said as of 9.30pm, police have yet to receive any report on the crash, including from the driver of the trailer lorry.
"Checks showed he was not at the scene. We believe he had fled," he said.
In the 5.30pm incident near Seremban R&R, Lau Lian Huat, 62, and his wife, Lim Ah Gim, 60, were killed on the spot due to severe head and body injuries.
Zaldino said the crash occurred when the trailer lorry hit the road divider, swerved into the opposite lane and crashed into the three vehicles including the couple's Perodua Alza.
"Three people from two other vehicles were injured from the crash." he said.
