KOTA BARU: The mysterious fires struck again at the house of Zainab Sulaiman's sister in Kampung Penambang near Jalan Pantai Cahaya Bulan.
There were more than four such incidents in the last 24 hours.
The first incident occurred about 8am yesterday where “paranormal activity” including two mysterious fires broke out in the living room and storeroom at the house of Zainab's sister, Faridah.
According to a close relative, the paranormal activities including the breaking of bottles containing `zamzam water' and the prayer mat ctching fire.
"Faridah, Zainab and other family members could not do anything to stop what was happening. Their clothes were also torn," said the relative.
The relative also said the mysterious fire destroyed a mattress and bed sheet about 8.30am.
"Firemen were called to the house but no incident happened when they were there," said the relative.
Faridah when contacted, refused to be interviewed.
These mysterious fires have occurred in the family more than 30 times this year.
They moved to the current house after the one they were living in for six years was destroyed in a mysterious blaze four months ago.
The family has no explanation for the happenings which have been occurring over the last six years.
