PUTRAJAYA: Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2’s (klia2) Runway 3 has been reopened after it was temporarily closed to allow for urgent maintenance works.
In a statement, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) said that the runway resumed operations at 3.30pm, which was earlier than expected.
"Passengers are advised to check the latest flight schedules with their respective airlines.
"In the meantime, we thank the airport team for rectifying the situation promptly," MAHB said.
Earlier, AirAsia said Runway 3 was temporarily closed for maintenance works.
It said that Runway 1 and Runway 2 were operating as usual, but that flight delays were expected.
