PUTRAJAYA: The Finance Ministry, as of March 31, has approved 7,084,726 applications for 1Malaysia People's Aid (BR1M) 2018, involving RM6.12 billion.
The Ministry said the cash aid covered payout of RM1,200 to 3,705,853 recipients with household income of RM3,000 and below, as well as RM900 aid to 324,973 people with household income between RM3,001 and RM4,000.
"This also includes RM450 to 3,053,900 individual applicants with income of RM2,000 and below," it said in a statement today.
For unapproved applications, the ministry said, the applicants can make an appeal by submitting supporting documents from April 2 to May 31 at any Inland Revenue Board (IRB) branches including IRB collection centres and the nearest Urban Transformation Centres.
They can also sent their applications via post to BR1M P.O.Box address, GPO Shah Alam together with relevant documents including salary statement and a copy of MyKad of their spouses and current dependants.
