KUALA LUMPUR: At least four were injured after a Rapid KL bus rammed into their vehicles.
It is understood that the incident took place along Jalan Ampang and the bus was heading towards Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2).
City police Traffic Enforcement Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Zulkefly Yahya said eight vehicles, one bus and seven cars, were involved in the 8pm accident.
Zulkefly said the incident took place in front of Bangunan Risda along Jalan Ampang. The bus only came to a stop at the Jalan Ampang-MRR2 junction.
He said all victims were still in the midst of making police report, adding that the bus driver is currently receiving treatment at the Ampang Hospital.
“He (bus driver) may be arrested if we conduct the investigation under Section 42 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
“My officers are still investigating, we have yet to make decision on this,” he said.
