THE temporary home of a woman who is facilitating the probe into the murder of Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Nazrin Hassan was raided by police on Monday morning.
According to a source, police raided the house in Taman Tun Dr Ismail about 8am.
“A team inspected the house and took items believed to be evidence that can facilitate the ongoing investigation. Among them are a smartphone belonging to the suspect, a closed-circuit television recorder and 13 other items,” the source said yesterday.
The source said after the June 14 incident, Nazrin’s wife and stepchildren lived in the house.
“The house belongs to one of the suspect’s family members.
“The suspect was living with two stepchildren who were detained at the same house on Sunday,” the source said.
On Monday, the Petaling Jaya magistrate’s court granted a three-day remand extension of the suspect till tomorrow.
Last week, police detained Nazrin’s wife and her ex-husband, both 43. The man has been since released.
Nazrin’s two stepsons were also remanded for a week since Sunday to facilitate investigation into his murder.
