KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) pledges its full support for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as the prime minister.
In a statement, the party's president Mohamad Sabu also said Amanah pledged its full support for Dr Mahathir to continue leading Pakatan Harapan (PH).
"May Allah SWT grant Tun the strength to face this political turmoil.
"We stand firm with PH and Tun for a better Malaysia," Mohamad said.
This afternoon, Dr Mahathir confirmed having sent in his resignation letters as prime minister and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) chairman.
Bersatu has also left the PH coalition, following an announcement made by its president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and vice president Zuraida Kamaruddin have been sacked from the party.
Following this, nine other PKR members quit the party.
Anwar when asked to comment suggested PH is no more, after Muhyiddin's announcement.
