KUALA LUMPUR: Motorcycles and express bus services are not allowed during the interstate travel period from May 7 to 10.
Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director Datuk Huzir Mohamed said that the decision to bar express bus services and motorcycles was made earlier.
"Vehicles like buses and motorcycles are not allowed for interstate travel from May 7 to 10.
"(Travelling on) flights within Semenanjung is allowed. But those who wished to head to Sabah or Sarawak must first apply online using the existing platform made available by the state government before purchasing a flight ticket," he said during a press conference in Bukit Aman today.
Huzir also added a vehicle used for travelling between states must only have a maximum of four persons in it.
He, however, said the limit can be based on the officer in charge's discretion at the roadblocks.
