"All members of the Faculty of Medicine at UiTM would like to express our condolences.
"We pray that her soul be blessed and placed among the pious," the posting read.
Checks by Harian Metro showed that several social media users, believed to be friends and colleagues of Artini, expressed their grief online.
It is learnt that Artini was 30 weeks pregnant when she was admitted to the hospital after testing positive for the virus.
Based on the social media postings that were shared among her friends and colleagues, Artini's newborn was safely delivered through caesarean section.
Her newborn is currently at the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of the same hospital.
It is also learnt that Artini, who had also authored the book "Penjagaan dan Pemulihan Jantung" by UiTM, would have turned 41 on Feb 26.
Harian Metro had attempted to reach out to her family, but they indicated that they are not ready to speak to the media.
They, however, appealed for the public to pray for them as they deal with the tragedy.
