KUALA LUMPUR: Expectant mother and freelance graphic designer Nur Amalina Baharudin became the three millionth Covid-19 vaccine recipient in Malaysia.
Hailing from Lenggong, Perak, she received her Pfizer-BioNtech Covid-19 vaccine at the Dewan Serbaguna Gerik vaccination centre in Hulu Perak.
Due to her pregnancy, Nur Amalina consulted a doctor prior to her vaccination at 3pm.
Initially, she received her vaccination appointment in Kuala Lumpur.
She, however, had to change the venue after moving back home to Lenggong after her husband was transferred to work offshore.
At 10am today, Nur Amalina called the Covid-19 National Immunisation Programme (NIP) call centre and successfully obtained a new appointment in Perak within two hours.
She subsequently received the appointment update via the MySejahtera application at 12.40pm.
