KUALA LUMPUR: 32 localities in Kelantan, Sabah, Perak, and Sarawak will be placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) for two weeks from July 20 to Aug 2.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said in Sabah, the areas are Kampung Long Kiangan, Kampung Ranau-Ranau, Kampung Solob, and Kampung Tunas Baru in Sipitang; Taman Teluk Likas, Kampung Gusung, Taman Kurnia Jaya, and Permai Kaya Factory quarters in Kota Kinabalu; Kampung Muhibbah and Kampung Bakalau in Beaufort; Ladang Agathis in Kalabakan; Kampung Dandulit Matunggong in Kudat; and Kampung Nosoob in Penampang.
In Kelantan, the EMCO will be enforced in Kampung Lepah and Kampung Alor Hijau in Pasir Puteh.
In Perak, the areas are Taman Melor Fasa 1 in Hilir Perak; Kampung Batu 19 1/2 and Kampung Batu 20 in Larut, Matang and Selama district; and Taman Tapah (including Taman Bunga Raya and Kampung Datuk), Taman Sri Damai 1 (including Taman Sri Damai 2), Taman Sri Tapah, Taman Tapah 2, Taman Sri Asoka, Kampung Baru, Kampung Pahang, Kampung Batu 5 Tapah Road, Kampung Baru Pekan Getah, Kampung Batu Melintang and Kampung Tanah Mas in Batang Padang; and Taman Awam 3 Bidor (including Taman Permata Bidor) Taman Sri Bidor, Taman Bidor Jaya (including Kampung Cegar Tambahan and Kampung Cegar) in Bidor.
In Sarawak, the EMCO will be imposed at Kampung Emperoh Nyiru Grait in Kuching.
Meanwhile, Ismail Sabri said the EMCO at Kampung Serudung Baru in Tawau, scheduled to end tomorrow (July 19) at midnight, will be extended for another two weeks from July 20 to Aug 2.
In the same statement, Ismail Sabri said the government has agreed to end the EMCO at several localities in Sabah, Kelantan, Selangor, and Perak tomorrow (July 19) at midnight as scheduled.
The localities in Sabah are Kampung Jambatan Baru in Beaufort and Blok 6, Kampung Titingan in Tawau.
In Kelantan, the localities are Ladang Lepan Kabu quarters (A and B), and parts of Kampung Pahi (bordering Ladang Lepan Kabu quarters) in Kuala Krai.
In Selangor, the localities are CLQ Gamuda Gardens in Rawang, while in Perak, the localities are Mukim Batang Padang and Mukim Bidor.
