Labuan, Sabah and Putrajaya record Rt higher than 1.00

KUALA LUMPUR: The national infectivity rate (Rt) remained at 0.96 for the second consecutive day on Friday.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Labuan recorded the highest Rt at 1.15, followed by Sabah at 1.06, and Putrajaya (1.01).

These three states were the states with a Rt value higher than 1.00.

States with a Rt at 1.00 were Negri Sembilan and Melaka.

This was followed by Kelantan with a Rt at 0.99, Kuala Lumpur and Pahang (0.98), Kedah (0.97), Selangor, Penang and Johor (0.96), Perak and Perlis (0.95), Terengganu (0.88), and Sarawak (0.86).
