KUALA LUMPUR: Former TV3 newsreader Zalina Azman has been missing since November last year.
Following her disappearance, Shah Alam police put up a missing person notice on their Facebook page today.
They are looking for Zalina, whose full name is Zalina Shaharah Azman, who was living at No 2, Jalan Ketiau 3/10, Seksyen 3 Shah Alam.
She is 58 years old, is 158cm tall and weighs about 60kg, with dark skin complexion.
In a statement, Shah Alam police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said Zalina's son Mikhael Norman, 33, had filed a report at the Seksyen 6 police station on Nov 29 last year.
"The complainant had been trying to contact his mother since Nov 24 to inform her that his grandfather was admitted to hospital, but she could not be reached.
"He then went to his mother's house in Seksyen 3 Shah Alam with his uncle on Nov 29. Upon arrival, they found her car parked beside the house.
"When they entered the house, they found the (household) items were disorganised. They found (Zalina's) purse in the house containing her MyKad, driving licence, bank and credit cards, RM600 cash and car key, but she was nowhere to be found," he said.
He said all efforts had been undertaken but Zalina is yet to be found.
Those with information on Zalina's whereabouts are urged to contact investigating officer Sergeant Sabturia Lorong or call the Seksyen 6 police station at 03-55194622.
Meanwhile, Senator Datuk Ras Adiba Mohd Radzi, a former TV personality, took to social media platforms to ask for help in locating Zalina.
In two posts on her Instagram account, Ras Adiba pleaded with the public to help locate Zalina and urged her to come home.
She wrote: "Where are you Zally? Please come home, just come home."
