BATANG KALI: The death toll from the Batang Kali landslide tragedy has risen to 21.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, in announcing this, said the search for 12 remaining people are still ongoing.
Zahid, who visited the scene tonight, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is expected to announce aid for the injured victims as well as the next of kin of those who had perished during his visit to the site later.
