SUNGAI BULOH: A heart-broken mother who lost four family members in the landslide tragedy in Batang Kali became too frail to walk, nearly collapsing after the process of claiming their bodies at Sungai Buloh Hospital (HSB) here.
Beh Su Lee, 59, from Sabak Bernam, had to be led away by family members to the car when leaving the hospital's Forensic Department.
Beh said she lost her 35-year-old daughter, son-in-law (34) and two grandchildren, a boy and a girl aged six and one, in the early Friday morning incident.
"Yesterday I found three bodies. Today I met (identified) another one," she told reporters before leaving the hospital.
A few minutes before Beh left the Forensic Department, two funeral company vans were seen leaving the department, believed to be carrying the remains of her four family members.
So far 24 victims have been confirmed dead with nine more still missing out of a total of 94 victims involved in the landslide.
