KUALA LUMPUR: A woman was killed while two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash at KM35 of the Kesas Highway, from Subang to Shah Alam, last night.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Morni Mamat said a team from the Subang Jaya Fire and Rescue Station was rushed to the scene after an alert at 11.44pm.
He said the accident involved two cars - a Proton Wira and a Honda City.
"When the firemen arrived at the location, there were three victims already been removed from their vehicles by members of the public.
"Two of the victims sustained some injuries but a female passenger of one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene," he said in a statement today.
Morni said the deceased was later identified as 27-year-old M Shamini.
He said, the victim's body has been handed over to the police for further action.
