JOHOR BARU: A 69-year-old man was found dead in Taman Suria, here in Larkin, after neighbours detected a foul stench emanating from his house, today.
Larkin Fire and Rescue Department operation commander Hussin Ismail said rescuers cut the grilled padlock to gain entry.
The victim was found sitting on a chair lifeless in the living room.
Following the department's procedures, the body was handed over to the police for further action and investigation.
No foul play was suspected and the case was classified as sudden death.
