KUALA LUMPUR: One way that cats show their affection is by bringing 'gifts' to their owners.
These 'gifts' can be dead animals or sometimes- ones that are still alive.
For TikTok user @sifatinlah, her cat brought home a fish marinated in salt and turmeric powder.
The cat, known as Siti, was seen walking towards the owner with the fish in her mouth while making noises.
"Dia nak habaq dia tak curi, orang bagi (the cat wanted to tell me that it did not steal the fish, but someone gave it to the cat)," wrote @sifatinlah.
The cat then dropped the fish in front of her owner.
TikTok users flooded the comment section, while some cat owners shared similar experiences of 'gifts' that their furry friends brought home.
User @nufaa.nufaa wrote; "Any of your neighbours came and asked for their missing fish?."
Another user @kakak_sk_magic wrote; "Just like my cat. My cat brought home a kerisi fish (golden threadfin bream) marinated in salt and turmeric powder and put it in our kitchen."
User @89szar said; "The cat is actually asking for your help to fry the fish."
Later, in another post, @sifatinlah posted a video of her cat enjoying the fish that was already fried.
"Replying to @icaa, today this bibik (referring to herself) has fulfilled the employer's (the cat) request."
