KUALA LUMPUR: Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu has been admitted to Hospital Putrajaya earlier today for treatment of appendicitis.
His office informed that Mohamad Sabu will undergo surgery tonight based on the advice of medical experts.
"Mohamad Sabu was admitted to Hospital Putrajaya earlier today for treatment of appendicitis.
"He is currently in stable condition and is being closely monitored," read the statement issued by his office.
According to the same statement, for the time being, only immediate family members are allowed to visit him.
"Let us all hope and pray that he will make a full, speedy recovery".
