PAPAR: A man is feared to have drowned after falling into a river at Batu Bandung Daingin, Kimanis, here, yesterday.
Jebenoh Antonny, 31, is believed to have slipped while washing his feet.
The Fire and Rescue Department said it received a call about the incident at 6.17pm.
A department spokesman said firefighters from the Kimanis Fire and Rescue Station went to the scene.
"They searched along the riverbank with the K9 unit, but did not find any clues," he said today.
The search continued today with 14 personnel.
