KUANTAN: Pahang state executive council member Datuk Seri Johari Harun is believed to be among the six passengers travelling in the aircraft that crashed along with two crew members near Elmina, Shah Alam today.
Johari, who is the state Local Government, Housing, Environment and Green Technology Committee chairman, was in the plane which departed Langkawi International Airport at 2.08pm and was en route to the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang.
Johari, a first-term Pelangai assemblyman, is believed to have gone to Langkawi earlier today along with the other Pahang state executive council members.
The conditions of all passengers and crews have yet to be confirmed at press time.
Earlier, the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) confirmed that an aircraft with a total of six passengers and two flight crew crashed near Elmina, Shah Alam.
