KAJANG: Prasarana Malaysia Berhad will prepare a full report on the case of a tyre from a KL Monorail train which caught fire and fell onto the road near the Jalan Tun Razak station in Sentul.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke said they are still investigating the cause of the incident.
He said no one was injured in the incident and services were not disrupted.
"We take this matter seriously and the cause of the inicident should be investigated.
"Prasarana would have to investigate the full inicident and prepare a full report to the ministry and Land Public Transport Agency," he said after launching the MRT Kajang Line Women's Coach, here, today.
On Tuesday, the Fire and Rescue Department said its Kuala Lumpur operations control centre received an emergency call at 12.57pm and despatched firemen to the scene.
Upon arrival they notice a burnt tyre, believed to from the monorail, on the road. It was then distinguished.
