Johor police chief Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat in a statement said the police had sighted a 37-second viral video on X (formerly Twitter) where a man believed to be a police officer physically attacked a civilian in a public place.

"Checks found that on Jan 12 at 3.11pm, a post was uploaded on X by the CEO of Expose, @druglordfxdl.

"The user had quoted the name and position of the police officer involved as the Sri Gading police station chief, Sazalan Yusof.
