PM hands over donation to youth with elephantiasis

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today presented a donation to Muhammad Jazlan Abd Jamin, a youth suffering from elephantiasis.

The contribution was delivered by his political secretary, Ahmad Farhan Fauzi, who visited Muhammad Jazlan at Tuanku Ampuan Afzan Hospital in Kuantan, Pahang.

"Jazlan has been suffering from elephantiasis after falling into a drain three years ago, and now his fate has worsened as one of his legs had to be amputated upon medical advice.

"I pray for his recovery and for him to be blessed with strength to continue living with his beloved family, insya-Allah," said the Prime Minister through a Facebook post today. – BERNAMA
