KOTA KINABALU: Tanjung Aru Beach here boasts one of the most beautiful sunset views globally, making it a favourite spot for locals and tourists.
Now, visitors can continue to be mesmerised after sunset as a Tawau-based event organiser is hosting an LED light show known as the Eternal Wonderland at the nearby Prince Philip Park.
Organiser Jack Wong said the park was selected due to its location and popularity.
"We know that Prince Philip Park and Tanjung Aru Beach receive many visitors.
"The Eternal Wonderland light show would complement them well, offering residents something unique to enjoy in the evening.
"We are also thankful to the management of Tanjung Aru Eco Development Sdn Bhd (TAEDSB), the official venue provider for our event, for allowing us to operate at Prince Philip Park."
TAEDSB general manager Datuk Jake Jikulin Nointin said the company welcomed any collaboration that promoted the park and Tanjung Aru.
"TAEDSB's priority is to upgrade Prince Philip Park so that it can be enjoyed by everyone.
"We are happy to have events like the Eternal Wonderland, which can bring people together and boost their experience of Prince Philip Park and Tanjung Aru Beach."
Jake added that the park and Tanjung Aru Beach evoked fond memories for Sabahans, particularly Kota Kinabalu residents.
The exhibition operates daily from 6pm to 11pm. The entrance fee is RM8 for adults and RM6 for children under 12.
