SANDAKAN: A nine-year-old boy is believed to have been killed by a crocodile while bathing in a river in Sandakan, Sabah.
Villagers found the victim, Mohd Radhi Randi some 500 m from where he was last seen.
Sabah Fire and Rescue Operations Center officer Assistant Fire Superintendent Riki Mohan Singh Ramday said they were alerted to the incident at 12.16 pm.
He said a team of 11 members from the Sandakan Fire and Rescue Station was dispatched to the scene.
The victim was found at 3.05 pm in the river near Kampung Lembaga Batu 8.
