HL: Man dies after crocodile attack while fishing by river in Kinabatangan

KINABATANGAN: A 24-year-old man died after he was attacked by crocodile here.
The District Fire and Rescue Department received a call at 1:32pm about the incident at Sungai Ladang Pontion Subok Sukau in Kinabatangan, located about 73 kilometres from the station.
"According to the informant, the victim was attacked by a crocodile while fishing by the river.
"The operation commander reported that the victim was found by civilians at 2:30pm, 1.2 km from the incident location. The victim was confirmed dead by health personnel and subsequently handed over to the police for further action."
