THIS August, the Malaysian Institute of Development for Professionals (MIDP) is set to host its inaugural People & Culture Conference (PACC) 2024.
The highly anticipated corporate event is curated for senior leaders, people managers, business owners and professionals specialising in people and culture management.
PACC 2024 is held in collaboration with esteemed organisations such as the Malaysian Alliance of Corporate Directors, 30% Club, LeadWomen and Speak Up Malaysia.
It will feature nine revolutionary topics, anchoring around human resource, talent recruitment and retention, learning and development, positive leadership practices and organisational culture.
These will be explored through intimate keynote sharings, interactive forums, exclusive fireside chats and hands-on workshops conducted by 25 notable speakers over the two-day event.
CONNECT WITH INDUSTRY TITANS
A unique highlight of PACC 2024 is the intimate keynote sharings, delivered by renowned names in corporate Malaysia. Instead of speeches, speakers will be delivering personal stories and anecdotes to help leaders on their journey.
With the conference's intimate setting, delegates will gain direct access to the 'who's who' of leading industries within the Asian region, a chance to meaningfully connect and build powerful networks.
MIDP believes that by connecting leaders to their peers from other professions and industries, the nation would move towards more impactful leadership and workplace practices, suitable for the current multigenerational workforce.
The event will be officiated by Deputy Human Resource Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad, alongside HRDCorp chief executive officer Datuk Shahul Dawood and MIDP chief executive officer Emellia Shariff.
STAY AHEAD OF THE CURVE
At PACC 2024, delegates will have a front row seat to soak up top trends, transformative topics and best practices shared by industry experts in this ever-evolving business landscape.
The conference features topics across three pillars: leadership and organisational culture; talent development and performance management; as well as workplace dynamics and communication.
These ensure that delegates walk away with in-depth understanding of some of the most critical areas impacting the global workplace right now, such as diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI).
Attendees will get to interact and ask questions during the sessions, along with the valuable opportunity to engage in meaningful one-on-one conversations in the networking sessions.
GAIN PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE
An exciting feature of the conference is that all speakers are instructed to structure their sharing in a tips-and-tricks format to ensure that every delegate walks away with clear, practical and immediately applicable insights to elevate their respective careers and organisations.
As a leading institute for soft skills development, MIDP believes that this is important when discussing topics surrounding complex areas such as striking the billion dollar balance between employee happiness and productivity at work.
Delegates will not just get a chance to learn from the best in the field, but also advocates, change-makers and thought leaders who are shaping the future of industries in these areas.
