PENAMPANG: A video went viral today showing a woman being assaulted by two other women, believed to be in a supermarket parking lot in this district.
The two-minute and 16-second video shows the victim being slapped multiple times and her hair being pulled until she fell, after which the two women start to kick her.
District police chief Superintendent Sammy Newton said his team were aware of the viral video this morning.
However, he said no police reports had been received so far.
"Therefore, police are asking witnesses at the scene or individuals involved to come forward to file a police report to enable an investigation to be conducted.
"Any information can be quickly relayed to the Penampang district police headquarters at 088-712222," he said in a statement today.
