KUALA LUMPUR: Sultan Ibrahim will be officially installed as the nation's 17th King in a grand ceremony at Istana Negara today, attended by numerous dignitaries.
Among those in attendance are Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, accompanied by his wife, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
Also in attendance are Deputy Prime Ministers Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, alongside Singapore's Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his wife.
The event was further honoured by the presence of the King of Bahrain, Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah.
