Siblings who went missing in Pontian have returned home safe: Police

PONTIAN: The two siblings reported missing here have returned home.

Pontian police posted on Facebook that both siblings were safe.

"No incidents occurred involving the two of them.

"We thank the public for their cooperation in helping with the investigation," the post said.

It was reported that two siblings aged 12 and 17 were reported missing from their home here, after last being seen 11 days ago.

Police were looking for Muhammad Afif Izzudin Muhamad Basri and Nur Aina Shahira Muhamad Basri who were last seen at their home at Kampung Lama, Kampung Baru, Benut, Pontian on July 12.

The post also stated that the siblings' father reported that they have been missing from July 12 and a police report was lodged on July 21.
