PENAMPANG: One of the two teenagers reported missing in Kampung Buit, Putatan, has been found.
Nicholas Chee Ping, 13, returned home on his own at 9.25pm yesterday.
According to a Facebook post from the Penampang District Police Headquarters (IPD), Nicholas is safe and unharmed.
The post detailed that Nicholas had been staying at a friend's house for a week and only reached out to his family after a missing child notice was shared online.
However, 15-year-old Rezlo Mic Fadden Romineo remains unaccounted for.
The public is urged to provide any information about the missing teenager by contacting Inspector Chee Yue Piew at 016-6668586 or the IPD Penampang at 088-712222.
The IPD Penampang had previously appealed for assistance in locating both missing youths from Kampung Buit Hill.
