KUALA LUMPUR: Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) through Rapid KL announced that it will be extending Light Rail Transit (LRT) operation at the Bukit Jalil station tomorrow until 1am to accommodate visitors attending the AR Rahman Live Concert at Bukit Jalil Sports Complex.
In a statement today, Prasarana said all connecting stations will also have the operations extended to allow passengers to continue their journey to their final destination.
"Users are advised to use public transportation to avoid congestion. Please use the Touch 'n Go card for a smoother journey," the statement said.
Three exciting events will take place around the Bukit Jalil Sports Complex tomorrow, namely the AR Rahman Live in Kuala Lumpur Concert, the Rianie Yang 2024 Concert at Axiata Arena and the Nihon Matsuri 2024 program, which started yesterday and runs until this Sunday, will also be held at parking lot B, National Stadium Bukit Jalil.
The last time composer AR Rahman came to Malaysia was in January 2023 for the AR Rahman - Secret of Success - Live in Malaysia 2023 Concert, which drew over 60,000 fans.
