Found safe: Man reappears after 5 days

KUALA LUMPUR: A man who was reported missing since July 25, has returned safely to his family, but is still in a state of confusion.

Muhamad Faez Zainuddin, 33, was said to have returned to his home in Kampung Batu 17, Ayer Hitam, Muar, at 2.30pm on Monday.

His wife Hasnah Hussin, said Faez could not recall what had happened during his five-day absence.

The 29-year-old, who works at a private hospital in Batu Pahat said upon returning home, she saw her husband sitting in the car expressionless.

Kosmo! reported that he only came out of the vehicle after being persuaded by family members who had gathered at his house since his disappearance.

"Alhamdulillah, he has safely returned home although he is still a little unstable, seems confused, and is always staring blankly into space. After coming home, I told him to rest and when he seemed a little better, I gave him some food and told him to take a shower," she said.

On July 29, the Malay daily reported Faez's disappearance and said his family members, including his wife, were unable to reach him.

Before he went missing, he informed his family that he had to go outstation to deliver items to Klang, Selangor.

The man's disappearance was noticed when his employer contacted the family to ask about his whereabouts.

Family members then tried contacting Faez's mobile phone and went down his usual route, but failed to track him down.

Hasnah had said they disagreed on a small matter the night of the incident but had made up with her shortly after.
