29-year-old woman disappears after leaving home for KL

TELUK INTAN: The police are requesting the public's cooperation in locating a woman who has been missing since April after leaving her family home in Kampung Bahagia here.

Hilir Perak district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Adnan Basri, said the disappearance of Nur Asyikin Abd Rahim, 29, was reported by her family at 9.38 pm last Thursday.

"According to her mother, Nur Asyikin had mentioned that she was going to look for work in Kuala Lumpur," he said.

"However, since leaving her family home in April, she has been uncontactable," he said in a statement today.

The police are appealing to the public to come forward with any information related to Nur Asyikin's whereabouts.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the nearest police station or the Hilir Perak District Police Headquarters at 05-6299222.
