TEMERLOH: A 20-year-old woman has been reported missing after stepping outside her home to dispose of rubbish at Taman Temerloh Jaya on Oct 6.
Nurul Aliya Zulkifli walked to the rubbish bin, located about five metres from her front gate, at 11.15pm but did not return.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mazlan Hassan said that Nurul Aliya's father, 52, noticed her absence and began searching the area.
"He checked the vicinity and then canvassed the neighbourhood for any sign of her. After failing to locate his daughter, he filed a police report at 3.15am on Oct 7.
"There were no CCTV cameras in the area, and police have yet to gather any leads regarding her disappearance. She is 160 cm tall, weighs around 45 kg, and has a slim build," he said in a statement today.
Mazlan said that on the day she went missing, Nurul Aliya was wearing a white blouse with blue stripes and black pants.
He urged anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the Temerloh police headquarters at 09-2716222 or the nearest police station.
