Nenggiri by-election: PN announces 37 offers in its manifesto

GUA MUSANG: Perikatan Nasional (PN) announced its manifesto with 37 offers for the Nenggiri state by-election this evening

The launch of the manifesto was officiated by Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud at a ceremony held in Renok here.

The manifesto comprises seven pillars, creating the acronym 'Khidmat' (Service), where K stands for service to the community, H for people's rights, I for trust and integrity, D for economic power and infrastructure, M for a knowledgeable society, pure values and prosperity, A for educated and skilled young people, and T for rural digital transformation.

Each pillar contains between three and five offers.

The manifesto was later presented by PN candidate for the Nenggiri by-election, Rizwadi Ismail.

Also present at the ceremony were state PAS deputy commissioner Dr Mohamed Fadzli Hassan, PN operations director for the Nenggiri by-election Tan Sri Annuar Musa, and Bersatu vice president Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin.

The Nenggiri state by-election was called after Kelantan Speaker Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah declared the seat, previously held by Mohd Azizi Abu Naim, vacant.

In the Kelantan state election held in August last year, Mohd Azizi won Nenggiri with a narrow majority of 810 votes in a straight fight against a BN candidate.

The Aug 17 Nenggiri by-election sees a straight fight between Rizwadi and Barisan Nasional candidate Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani.

Based on the latest Election Commission electoral roll, the Nenggiri state seat has 20,245 eligible voters, comprising 17,561 Malays, 2,560 Orang Asli, and 119 Chinese.

The 20,245 voters include 10,285 men and 9,960 women, who will be casting their votes at the 20 voting districts in the state seat.
