TAWAU: A 15-year-old girl missing since Friday was found early today in the Jalan Tengku Osman area of Kampung Jawa.
Humaira Syafiqah Naldi, Form Three student at a secondary school, was found at 1am.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Jasmin Hussin confirmed the discovery, adding that investigations were ongoing.
"The victim was found at 1am today and is currently at the Tawau police headquarters for further investigation," he said.
Yesterday the girl's family had appealed to the public for help in locating her.
Her sister Ayu Naldi, 39, had said that she was last seen at their home in Kampung Tanjung Keramat at 5am on Friday.
