KOTA KINABALU: The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, is expected to have more visits in Sabah.
Sabah Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) information chief, Razeef Rakimin, said that apart from the scheduled Malaysia Agreement 1963 meeting here, Anwar would also go to Felda Sahabat in Lahad Datu on Sept 12.
"The programme at Felda Sahabat will focus more on the Malaysia Madani concept," he said in a press conference at a hotel here, adding that it has also been confirmed that the PKR president will attend Malaysia Day here on Sept 16.
Next month, Anwar will return to Sabah for the Himpunan Perdana Rakyat for the East Coast Zone, which is set to take place in Tawau on Oct 19.
"This follows a successful gathering at the Sabah International Convention Centre here, which saw over 15,000 attendees. The event aims to maintain momentum and demonstrate the government's ongoing engagement with the people of Sabah.
"During that visit, the Prime Minister will also tour the Bukit Tundung gold mine to assess the state's mineral resources," he said.
Meanwhile, Razeef also said that Sabah PKR will host the Keadilan Borneo Roundtable Discussion on Sept 15 and the Borneo Convention on Sept 21.
