KUANTAN: Tengku Puteri Seri Lela Wangsa, Tengku Tan Sri Dr Meriam Al-Marhum Sultan Ahmad Shah leads a list of 27 recipients of various awards conferred in conjunction with Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah's 65th birthday at Istana Abdulaziz here today.
Meriam received the Sri Setia Al-Sultan Abdullah Ahmad Shah (SAAS) award which carries the title Datuk Seri Setia.
Deputy Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk R. Ramanan was among four who received the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) award which carries the title Datuk Seri.
The three others are former Health Ministry secretary-general Datuk Harjeet Singh Hardev Singh, Tenaga Nasional Bhd's chief executive officer Datuk Indera Ir. Baharin Din and Southern Acids (M) Bhd managing director Dr Low Kok Thye.
The recipients of Sri Indera Mahkota Pahang (SIMP) honour, which carries the title of Datuk Indera, are Commander of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Joint Force Lieutenant General Datuk Noor Mohamad Akmar Mohd Dom, RMAF Air Operations Commander Lieutenant-General Datuk Mohd Shahada Ismail, Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology president Professor Ir. Dr Lee Sze Wei; and Urusan Menara Network Sdn Bhd director Datuk Ab Razif Asmuni.
The recipients of Darjah Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP) honour, which carries the title Datuk, are senior lawyer Tengku Shaiful Aftar Shah Tengku Mustafa, National Water Research Institute of Malaysia deputy director-general Ir. Mohd Zaki Mat Amin, Yindi Group China chairman Zhu Yilong and Thailand Charoen Pokphand Group (China) deputy chairman Li Wenhai.
The other recipients are RMAF Assistant Chief of Engineering Staff Major General Hishammudin Abdul Rahman, RMAF Air Support Commander Major General Masro Kaliwon and Asian Art Production Sdn Bhd managing director Rozaidi Baharudin.
Among the 11 recipients of the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) award, which also carries the title Datuk, are Orang Asli Development Department (Jakoa) director-general Datuk Sapiah Mohamad Nor, Tanjung Lumpur assemblyman Rosli Abdul Jabar, Beserah assemblyman Andansura Rabu and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's political secretary Ahmad Farhan Fauzi.
Others are Perak's Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission director Ahmad Sabri Mohamed, Raub district officer Mohd Khuzaidi Harun, Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department deputy director (investigation/operations) Deputy Commissioner Fadil Marsus, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah's deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International Affairs) Lieutenant Colonel Professor Ir. Ts. Dr. Ahmad Ziad Sulaiman; RHB Banking Group managing director Mohd Rashid Mohamad, Stella Maris International School (Kuala Lumpur) president Tang Beng Cheok and FMT Media Sdn Bhd executive chairman Nelson Fernandez.
Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah and Tengku Mahkota of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah were also present at the ceremony.
