KLUANG: A total of 16.56 per cent of eligible voters have cast their ballots for the Mahkota state seat by-election as of 10am today, the Election Commission said.
The EC previously said that 61,274 eligible voters are expected to cast their ballots during the polling day for the by-election today.
The by-election witnessed a straight fight between Barisan Nasional candidate Syed Hussien Syed Abdullah and Mohamad Haizan Jaafar of Perikatan Nasional.
